QR Code Generator

Create QR codes locally — no tracking, no expiration.

100% in your browser — nothing uploaded

Type a URL or any text and get a scannable QR code instantly, rendered on a canvas with crisp square modules and a proper quiet zone. Pick an error-correction level (L, M, Q, or H — higher levels survive smudges and small print sizes), choose 256, 512, or 1024 pixels, and download the result as a PNG ready for flyers, menus, packaging, or slides.

Most online QR generators route your link through their servers — that’s how they track scans, and it’s why "free" codes stop working when a trial ends. This one encodes everything in your browser with no server involved: the code contains your data directly, nobody logs what you encode, and the PNG you download keeps working forever.

FAQ

Do QR codes expire?

A static QR code like the ones made here never expires — your text or URL is encoded directly into the pattern, so it works as long as the destination exists. "Expiring" codes are dynamic codes from paid services that point to a redirect URL, which dies when the subscription does.

Is my link or text sent to a server?

No. The encoder runs entirely in your browser — Reed-Solomon math and all. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or tracked, which also means no one can see what you encoded or count your scans.

Which error-correction level should I choose?

M (15%) is the right default for screens and normal print. Choose Q or H if the code will be printed small, laminated, or exposed to wear — they stay scannable with up to 25–30% of the code damaged, at the cost of a denser pattern.
